Microsoft Office 2019 is now here and is first being launched for commercial volume license consumers using Windows and Mac. But worry not, if you’re a general or commercial customer, you can still expect to get your hands on this brand new succession to Office 2016 over the next few weeks.
Microsoft Office 2019 : What we know so far
Office 2019 is the most recent step in Microsoft’s arsenal of productivity suite tools. It is created for consumers and businesses that do not use the company’s Office 365 opt-in service. So if you’re one of those folks not quite ready to jump into Office 365 ProPlus, this latest update just might be for you.
The new release brings you a collection of cool features introduced to Office 365 ProPlus over the past three years. Say hello to a roaming pencil case, better inking quality and powerful data analysis features in Excel. With Microsoft Office 2019, you can now use Morph and Zoom effects in PowerPoint while enjoying 4k video export, SVG and 3D model support and play-in click sequence.
What’s more? You can use focus mode on Word, and you get a new translator with it. Word and Outlook users also get more Learning Tools features like Text Spacing and Read Aloud. Accessibility is better than ever before and ribbon customization is possible across all the Office apps.
Aside from these singular updates, businesses can also expect to see Skype for Business 2019, Project Server 2019 and Exchange Server 2019 coming out in a few weeks.
